Nervous About Making Conversation?

I’ll admit, it’s one of my downfalls. What do we talk about now? I really AM interested in other people — their likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. But how does one break into that realm of conversation without sounding like an Amway distributor? One way is to find out what people are really passionate about in their life:
