We have a pretty important release available for everyone, it includes an important security fix and it’s recommended that everyone upgrade. This is the latest release in our stable 2.0 line, which we’ve committed to maintaining for several more years.

A little departure from the beaten path…Wordpress 2.0.6 has been released and as the official release announcement says, it’s pretty important that everyone upgrade. You can read the release notes at the above link, or go directly to the WordPress 2.0.6 download page.

If any fellow bloggers need a hand updating, let me know and I’ll try to help you out.

Thanks for the head’s up Steve. Maybe this will fix the little tweak in the trackback/pingback system that I’ve been noticing.
