High Quality eBooks from The Fast Lane

Most of my ebooks are unread.

Have you ever downloaded an e-book and been disappointed with the quality? I have. I'd be all excited to get reading, only to find that what I'd downloaded was almost impossible to read on my screen! Most of them were formatted in Word, for 8-1/2 x 11 paper. Paper! This is an e-book, not a letter!

To put it lightly, I was irritated more often than not. I'd zoom the page in so I could read the type, then I'd have to scroll from side-to-side to read a whole line. Sometimes a whole line would fit on the screen, but when I read to the end of one line, finding the beginning of the next was an effort because the lines were so long and so close together.

So I decided to create some ebooks the way I think they should be. I've gathered the best public-domain books I could find on the subjects of personal development, wealth-building, and self-help, and re-designed them for easy reading on the computer screen — or on a printed page. The colors have been specially selected to be pleasing to the eye, and distractions have been minimized. The PDF has been designed so that background colors don't print, so you can print to your inkjet printer in economical black ink if you'd like to — you'll get black print on a white paper background.

Some of the benefits of ebooks from The Fast Lane:

  • line-lengths optimized for easy online reading
  • line-heights designed to guide your eyes to the next line
  • easy, sit-back-in-your-chair font size
  • designed-for-screen-reading typeface
  • easily printable on regular paper
  • clickable table of contents
  • easy one-click page turning
  • preprogrammed bookmarks

I've taken a lot of time and spent much effort in making these books as readable online as I can. See for yourself by downloading a sample.

Most books are priced at $5.00, less than the price of a mocha and a cookie from Starbucks!

Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill

UPDATE: I made a mistake with this post; I didn’t mean to actually publish it in the manner I did. In the interests of continuity and feedreader clicks, I’m leaving it up, but with a caveat: to see the full explanation of the PDF and Think and Grow Rich, please visit this page.

Once in a while, a book comes along that has the power to change lives–millions of them–for the better. Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill, is one of those books.

Hidden within its pages, visible for those who are ready to see, is the wisdom of the ages. Wisdom so profound that it is often passed over for more complicated reasoning and conjecture. The wisdom that is in Think and Grow Rich will, if you learn and embrace it, guide you to riches and wealth well beyond what you can imagine today.

Distilled from a 16-volume work that was the culmination of 25 years of research into the success secrets of the worlds wealthiest and most successful men, Think and Grow Rich has helped more people build wealth than probably any other published work. Hill studied men such as Thomas Edison, Andrew Carnegie, J. P. Morgan, the Rockefellers, and dozens of others, to find and quantify just what qualities these men possessed and used to become wealthy.
